Infolume wins National best e-Content award

Sign Language Teaching Course & Dictionary developed by Infolume backed the National best e-content award in the category of e-Inclusion & Participation at the recently concluded e-Swabhimani 2009. e-Swabhimani is organized by The Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA) which functions under the Presidential Secretariat.  The objective of the ‘e-Swabhimani ‘award is to recognize the country’s most outstanding e-content and applications and to serve as the stepping stone to regional  and international awards. This in turn is expected to create greater awareness and stimulate a higher level of interest in the development of innovative e-content and application. The award is given to outstanding content in eight categories, namely, e-Government & Institutions, e-Health & Environment, e-Learning & Education, e-Entertainment & Games, e-Culture & National Heritage, e-Science & Technology, e-Business & Commerce, e-Inclusion & Participation.

The awards were presented to the winners at a gala ceremony at Cinnamon Grand Hotel on November 6th 2009.
